Honoring Women Who Slay This International Women's Day

As you may have heard, today is International Women’s Day. Contrary to what your social media newsfeed tells you, this isn’t just a day to celebrate PP and Amy Schumer. While RGP knows that girls run the world, we want to shout out 5 especially badass women who slay on the daily.

Megyn Kelly

God bless this woman, who even when she has to deal with men who hardly have the mind to respect her, she manages to keep it together. Every debate that she moderates, proves to us all that Megyn Kelly is not just a pretty face, and she will not be walked all over. Major RGresPect.

Carly Fiorina

Sassy, classy, and a little bit smart-assy. Yup, that’s Carly. This badass started as a secretary and worked her way up to CEO of HP and presidential candidate. Although she suspended her presidential campaign, she still left a lasting impact on all of us. Carly reminded us that a feminist is “ a woman who lives the life she chooses...a woman may choose to have five children and home-school them. She may choose to become a CEO, or run for President.”

Nikki Haley

When Nikki decides to run for president, the world will become a better place. Her ability to express herself and make the hard choices in a way that puts her state first and her second shows us that Nikki is a born leader. South Carolina is real #blessed to have her in office.

KT McFarland

You may have seen this flawless human on Fox News from time to time telling people how it is. However, before all that she was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs under President Reagan. If you see her in the streets, don’t get into a foreign policy debate with her, she will slay you.

Laura Ingraham

Laura is not only an accomplished radio talk show host, best selling author, and conservative political commentator, but she is also the single mother to three adopted children. She shows us that women are truly amazing and can have both the successful career of their dreams, as well as a family. Laura is a great representation of REAL feminism.

So we want to thank these bad bitches for not only breaking those ridiculous partisan stereotypes, but proving to everyone (*cough cough* DONALD TRUMP *cough*) that women can be pretty and smart. Snaps for you ladies.
