This week things got heated on the #TrumpTrain. Starting at a Trump rally on Saturday, people decided to channel their frustrations and take it to the streets.
People in multiple cities including New York City and Salt Lake City followed in their footsteps and some of these protests got violent. In Arizona, people legit blocked the streets causing miles of traffic. If I was on my way home from work that day... all aboard the nope train to fuck-that-ville. All politics aside, I am not sympathetic for anyone involved.
While, I do NOT condone violence, I have ZERO sympathy for Donald Trump or his minions. I respect his right to speak his mind, you do you, but he needs to know he brought this upon himself. When you play with fire, you’re bound to get burned. Like Marco Rubio said at CPAC: "if someone stands up and keeps punching people in the face, someone's going to have to stand up and bunch them back."
I don’t know what else he expected from months and months of hateful and ignorant comments but this was bound to happen one of these days. ESPECIALLY from the whiney bitches who need "safe spaces" at school.
The riots (which by everyone's surprise are overwhelmingly led by leftists), have many #NeverTrump conservatives sipping tea like Kermit the Frog. Why? Because he burned that bridge by attacking us all. I won’t support the violence just as much as I won’t support the fascism. My feelings on this battle are like that on Chick-Fil-A being closed on Sunday’s, it pisses me off but I respect their decision.
All I have to say is: Donald, you made your bed, now lie in it.
Stay Classy, Katie
